  S4 E18 — Clip #4 Unforgiveness Is Rat Poison Unforgiveness feels justified. It feels like holding onto the pain somehow keeps the truth alive. But in reality… it’s poison. Not for them— for you. Every time you replay it… Every time you rehearse the hurt… Every time you carry what they did… it’s working on you from the inside out. Unforgiveness doesn’t protect you. It slowly drains you. Forgiveness isn’t saying, “That was okay.” It’s saying, “I refuse to keep drinking this.” You don’t release them because they deserve it. You release them because you deserve freedom .
